Welcoming Our New Team Member Nathan

Here at Ginger Digital we are delighted to announce that we have a new team member!

We are thrilled to welcome Nathan to the team as an illustrator/animator! He will be joining JP, Charlie and Sophie in the growing Creative Team here at Ginger.

We thought we’d find out what makes him tick by asking him a few questions!

What is your role at Ginger Digital?

Illustrator and Animator.

What have you enjoyed most since starting at Ginger Digital?

Everyone who works here is so lovely and nice, I’ve enjoyed getting to know everyone and chatting with them.

How would your friends describe you?

A book worm with a large passion for manga, cooking, and eating food from around the world.

What is one thing you’ve learnt since starting at Ginger Digital?

That’s there’s always more to learn and get better at.

What is your favourite film?

My top 3 are; Redline, Spiderman Into the Spiderverse, and Parasite.

Who would you choose to represent you in a film about your life?

I’ve been told I look like the brother from Goggle box who always watches stuff with his sister and a funky mug in hand so maybe you could get him? Otherwise I’d rather be animated by the people at Laika.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Draw my own webcomic and books about cuisines from around the world. I also enjoy cooking and reading a horrendous amount of books and manga.

What is your pet hate?

Dubbed live action films. Just watch it in its original language and read the subtitles.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Odd breakfasts like putting whatever fits into a toastie e.g. leftover bolognaise sauce, or putting Branston pickle and cheese onto a toasted English muffin – yum!
